A juvenile was arrested in Longford town and brought before a special sitting of Longford District Court yesterday on shoplifting charges.
Longford Gardai confirmed to Shannonside Northern Sound that goods were stolen from two premises in the town. Dealz on Market Square and Doyle's grocery shop on Dublin Street.
Gardai believe it was the minor's intention to visit Longford Town for a shoplifting spree.

Longford gardai arrested the underage suspect in the town and the juvenile was brought before the special sitting of Longford District Court.
A file has been sent to the DPP.
