St Ronan's Hall in Keadue, Co Roscommon, will reopen on Friday after a refurbishment project costing over half a million euro.
The 84-year-old centre now has a new roof and floor, improved insulation, an enlarged entrance and upgraded toilets.
The works were financed by state funding and community fundraising.
Fine Gael TD Frank Feighan will officially reopen the centre at 8 o'clock on Friday night, with music, dancing and other entertainment also.
The secretary of the organising committee, Paraic Noone, says extra events will be held in the new-look hall.
