The local community in Killarney County Kerry's coming to terms with the death of a teenage boy in a car crash overnight.
The 14-year-old was the driver of a car that was involved in a single-vehicle collision on Ross Road.
A teenage passenger was hospitalised as a result of the crash.
Separately, a motorcyclist in his thirties died following a crash near Listry (Pron: Lis-try) between Killarney and Milltown.
Cathaoirleach of Killarney Municipal District, Councillor Marie Moloney, says it's a sad and dark day in the Killarney area.
