Killoe eased into the quarter-final of the Longford SFC with a 1-13 to 1-8 to St. Mary’s Granard in Glennon Brothers Pearse Park.
Killoe were in control from early on leading 1-7 to four points at the break, Ciaran Donohoe’s goal on 26 minutes, Killoe’s scores came from Mark Hughes 0-4 2f, Larry Moran 0-2 and a Ciaran Donohoe point.
Killoe picked up where they left off after the break Daniel Mimnagh and Larry Moran pushing out the lead.
Granard got back into the game with a Darren Gallagher penalty on 39 minutes to make 1-9 to 1-4 and pulled it back to a three point game on 50 minutes 1-10 to 1-7.
Killoe sealed passage into the semi-finals with points from Mark Hughes, Euan Finneran and Denis McGoldrick.
