Killoe Emmet Og have been successful in their appeal to the disputes resolution committee and can now fulfil the defence of their senior county title.
The Longford champions were facing a 48-week suspension due to failure to fulfil the 2019 county U16 final which was set for January fifth this year.
On Sunday evening the disputes resolution committee ruled in favour of Killoe meaning the suspension has now been lifted and Killoe can compete in the remainder of the Longford senior championship with an outstanding game against Mostrim to be scheduled.
The DRA requested that an appeal lodged by the club to Leinster HC on February 23 regarding the 2019 U16 final be held with as a priority.
The DRA have directed costs and expenses of the DRA be discharged jointly by Longford HC and Longford CCC. The deposit lodged by Killoe Emmett Og toward the DRA hearing is also to be reimbursed.
