A general election candidate in Sligo-Leitrim says the constituency hasn't had a progressive voice for years. Sligo Cllr Nessa Cosgrove was confirmed as the Labour Party Candidate in the constituency for the next General Election last night.
She was elected to Sligo County Council earlier this year and also ran in the last General Election in 2020. Cllr Cosgrove believes people want change and that there is no safe seat in the constituency:
