She will visit a number of women's refuges, meet with locals in Athlone and travel through Ballymahon, stopping at various community greenway projects.
Speaking on the Joe Finnegan show the Dublin Bay South Representative says she's confident there's a strong Labour network in the region and is hopeful the party will gain a seat in the constituency in the next election.
''I think we'll certainly be building on the strong Labour base that we've always had in the constituency for many terms but also due to the really great work of all of the constituency organisations and I've mentioned the area reps we have and the others too in the constituency.''
