Concern is being expressed about the fact no councillor based in the town of Carrick-on-Shannon was elected in the local elections.
Finola Armstrong McGuire runs a business in the town and was a Fine Gael councillor for 10 years, but quit politics last month.
None of the six councillors elected in the Carrick local electoral area live or work in the town centre - although Sinn Fein councillor Cormac Flynn lives in Kilnagross.
A member of the town's chamber of commerce, Sharon Garland, who unsuccessfully contested the election, says that's very disappointing.
