Land prices in Longford and Leitrim decreased last year however they increased in Roscommon. A new report published the Irish Farmers Journal shows that land prices rise 5% along with buyer confidence.
The lowest average land price in Ireland last year was in Co Leitrim at €6,419 per acre. Paul Mooney from the Irish Farmers Journal outlined some of the findings from Roscommon, Leitrim and Longford:
