Hundreds of people are expected to attend a festival in Carrick-on-Shannon over the bank holiday weekend.
The Carrick Carnival is an action-packed five-day festival of entertainment. It got under way on Thursday night, when up to 2,000 people attended the Taste of Carrick, and continues until Monday.
