Fenagh St. Cailins claimed the second Connacht Gold Leitrim semi-final place with a 2-14 to 1-8 win over Leitrim Gaels.
The game was finally balanced heading into the second water break, Fenagh leading 12 points to 1-7, Ryan O’Rourke’s goal on 55 minutes changed the balance of the game.
O’Rourke put the game beyond doubt four minutes into injury time, when O’Rourke added his second goal from the penalty spot.
Fenagh had dominated after O’Rourke’s opening goal, Riordan O’Rourke was taken down in the final moments, allowing O’Roruke to bang his second goal of the day and secure a nine point victory.
