The final proposed layout of a large wind farm development in Roscommon has been released for public consultation.
Irish energy provider Energia and Galetech Energy Developments are seeking to construct 20 wind turbines at Seven Hills in the South of the County.
The proposed layout released by the company today shows 20 wind turbines with a typical output of 5-6 megawatts in the townland.
The plans have been the subject of intense public opposition, with locals successfully fighting the original grant of planning permission in the high court over 6 years ago.
The developers plan to apply for new planning permission for the wind farm later in the year following a period of public consultation with locals.
