Legendary comedy actor Will Ferrell made a surprise visit to Longford today.
He went for a meal in Vocella's Italian restaurant in Longford town, and posed for photos with staff.
Ferrell is proud of his Longford heritage and wore the county's GAA jersey to a Late Late Show interview in November 2017.

Ferrell found out several years ago that former generations of his family changed their name from Farrell when they emigrated to America, but the actor insists he's a Longford man.
Local Independent councillor Gerry Warnock, who was in Vocella's with his family this evening, says Farrell's latest visit is positive.
