According to the latest Daft.ie report, house prices in Co Leitrim have risen by almost 12 per cent in the past year.

A Leitrim Auctioneer says demand for housing far outweighs supply at the moment. According to the latest Daft.ie report, house prices in Co Leitrim have risen by almost 12 per cent in the past year. Meanwhile, they have increased by 6 per cent in Roscommon and 3.1 per cent in Longford, according to the property website.

The average price in Leitrim now stands at almost 207,000, while it's 219,000 in Roscommon and 204,000 in Longford. Auctioneer Liam Farrell, from Sherry FitzGerald Farrell, says lack of supply is the main problem:
