Leitrim-based insurance company plans significant expansion

The company is targeting further acquisitions and growing its 40-strong team, following it's 2022 purchase of Loftus Insurance in Roscommon.

A local insurance company is on an expansion drive following a buy-back of its majority ownership stake from Coverys European Holdings.
Now in its 65th year, Brady Insurance, headquartered in Co. Leitrim, will pursue an acquisition strategy aimed at increasing its domestic market share.
The company is targeting further acquisitions and growing its 40-strong team, following it's 2022 purchase of Loftus Insurance in Roscommon.

Brady Insurance recorded €21 million in gross written premiums in 2024 and €4 million in revenue. As it builds on it's presence in commercial and personal insurance markets, the company now aims to hit €30 million in GWP within five years,
Speaking to Shannonside FM News, Managing Director, Jane Brady, says this expansion means "a bright new future for the company":
