The CEO of a Leitrim food business has been critical of the Government's decision not to reduce the VAT rate for the hospitality sector. There is a protest rally in Dublin tomorrow organised by the Irish Restaurants Association against what they've described as a 'lack of Government support for the sector'.
John P. Brennan is the CEO of Blakes Always, who were recently crowned the best food business in Co. Leitrim at the Blás na hÉireann awards. He believes the Government have been very foolish not attending to the needs of the sector:
