A Leitrim native who contracted Covid-19 in October last year says he's still suffering the effects of the virus five months later.
Business owner Paul O'Brien has now been diagnosed with long Covid and says its been a difficult time battling severe headaches and fatigue.
He believes there's very little known about the condition and found it difficult to get a diagnoses.
Research which was recently commissioned by Roscommon TD Denis Naughten highlights that over 114,500 people in Ireland will receive treatment for the condition.
Speaking on Let's Talk the Carrick native said his recovery has improved over the last two weeks.
