A local elections candidate has spoken out about abuse she has received whilst canvassing yesterday evening.
Labour candidate Bernie Linnane is running in the Manorhamilton local electoral area.
She described being physically threatened by a man in Dromahair yesterday.

Longford-Westmeath TD Joe Flaherty also confirmed that local elections candidate in the Ballymahon Local Electoral Area, Sean Mimnagh, had his head cut off from one of his election posters.
