It's claimed Ukrainian refugees are being treated 'shockingly' by the sudden closure of their accommodation centre in Drumshanbo. The Lough Allen Hotel in Drumshanbo has been home to 170 Ukrainians for over two years. But they were told last week they would have to leave at the end of this month.
It's understood the Department of Integration has decided to close the centre as it has a significant number of vacancies. But local elections candidate Sean Wynne, from Drumshanbo, says the refugees are being treated very badly with the sudden closure.
