Leitrim council vows to clamp down on antisocial behaviour in Mohill estate

Independent councillor Des Guckian claims elderly people are being terrorised - with an 80-year-old woman having a drill thrown through her window.

Leitrim County Council says it will do everything it can to clamp down on antisocial behaviour in Mohill.

It has provided support to a number of tenants impacted by antisocial behaviour in the Treanmore Estate.

It has threatened to issue tenancy warnings to those responsible, and is working closely with the gardai.
