Leitrim County Council has committed to liaising with Local Link bus services over concerns on their new expansion in the county.
The new services in the region have led to concerns from local residents, service users and politicians, who claim the rigidity of the new system in Leitrim will see many long standing customers unable to access the service.
Following a motion from Councillor Finola Armstrong Maguire at Yesterday's council meeting, the local authority confirmed that they will seek a presentation from the transport body to councillors who have been questioning the new routes since their announcement.
Councillor Armstrong Maguire says the past service and links must be reinstated as part of the new operation.
