Leitrim councillor calls for new playgrounds to be developed

There are calls for playgrounds to be developed in two large housing estates in Carrick-on-Shannon.
Sinn Féin councillor Cormac Flynn says they're badly needed in Oaklands in Summerhill and Lis Cara on the Leitrim Road.

At Monday's meeting of Carrick Municipal District, he will call for the council to build these playgrounds.
He says they would be very beneficial to young families.
