A Leitrim councillor believes Storm Éowyn may be the weather event that broke the camel's back when it comes to forestry. Fianna Fáil councillor Gary Prior had previously called for forestry and water representatives to attend the March meeting of Leitrim County Council. It comes as a number of homes in the Mohill area of the county were still without power today, 20 days on from the storm. ESB Networks had said yesterday that all remaining premises would have power restored by last night.
