Leitrim councillor warns of "catastrophe" over diseased trees

A Leitrim councillor is calling for action regarding the issue of ash dieback trees along roads.

Independent Cllr Enda Stenson is bringing forward a motion to Monday's Leitrim County Council meeting following the damage caused by Storm Ashley recently.

A similar motion was brought forward last month in Roscommon by Cllr Gareth Scahill to try and tackle the issue.
