An update on the financial impact of Covid on Leitrim County Council is expected to be revealed this morning.

The summer holidays are well and truly over for County Councillors across the region with local authority meetings due to resume from this week.
Leitrim County Council's meeting is one of the first scheduled for the autumn, with Councillors moving to the socially distanced surroundings of the Bee Centre in Manorhamilton for the September meeting of the local authority.
On the agenda is an update on the council's Budget preparations for later this year - when the stark impact of Covid on the bottom line of the local authority is likely to be revealed.
Two motions regarding controversial plans for a 'concept' which angered a well known local family in Carrick-on-Shannon are also to be discussed.
Councillor Edna Stenson is to ask that the local authority do not discuss any future projects with external parties until the people involved are spoken to - while Councillor Des Guckian is calling on the council's chief executive Lar Power to apologise and to scrap plans for the concept on Carrick's Main Street.
Other issues to be discussed will be setting of the Local Adjustment Factor for Local Property Tax Rates as well as to approve the draft Litter Management Plan 2020 - 2023.]
