Leitrim County Council is processing up to 40 submissions from the public on a proposed route for an extension of the bypass from Dromod extending beyond Carrick on Shannon.
A total of 38 submissions were submitted by email, post and electronically via the website in the public consultation process which concluded at the end of October.
The project team is currently processing the data and responding to each individual submission.
They will compile the data which will be included as part of the Published Route Selection Report, which is expected to be complete by Quarter 3 next year.
Carrick on Shannon Councillor Finola Armstrong Maguire says people’s opinions will be taken on board.
