A Leitrim artist will be honoured at the TG4 Gradam Ceoil Awards this evening.
Drumsna native Edwina Guckian will receive the Outstanding Contribution Award for her work in the Irish music and dance scene.
The renowned performer has taught thousands of young people the tradition of Sean Nos Dance and works tirelessly to promote the cultural treasures of Co. Leitrim.

She will perform tonight alongside her dance school Airc Damsha which features students from across the region.
The ceremony takes place at the National Concert Hall in Dublin at 9.30pm.
Speaking to Shannonside Northern Sound Edwina says it's a privilege to receive the awards along with many of her childhood heroes.
