A Latin-American woman has revealed how she was discriminated against when she first came to live in Co Leitrim. Lola Gonzalez Farrell moved to Carrick-on-Shannon seven years ago from Panama in Central America.
She is running for the Social Democrats in the local elections next month. She says more can be done to make the area more inclusive - although things have improved since she first came here.
