Leitrim GAA Chairman Enda Stenson says members of the organisation are going to have to take a financial hit where necessary in order for the organisation to survive the next couple of years.
The County Board Chairman says the organisation was founded on a spirit of volunteerism and that is going to have to be more the case as the organisation struggles through a serious financial deficit.
He was speaking today as a major fundraiser for Leitrim GAA draws to a close with more than 1200 supporters in Leitrim, Ireland, and around the world taking up the challenges to walk 50 Miles in January.
Enda Stenson says the money raised by the challenge will be a huge support to the county organisation but there will still be a big challenge to be met for the next year or so:
