Over €1 million has been announced for projects in Co Leitrim under the Community Recognition Fund.
Organisations that are set to benefit from the announcement in Leitrim are the Ballinamore Area Community Council, Carrick-on-Shannon Tennis Club, Carrigallen GAA and Healthy Club and Allen Gaels GAA Club in Drumshanbo.
Co Roscommon has received close to €800,000, with half a million euro allocated towards a childcare facility in Ballaghaderreen.

In Longford, €61,000 worth of funding has been announced for resurfacing the car park at Clonguish GAA.
