Leitrim had the least amount of planning permissions granted nationally in quarter three of this year.
It comes as Central Statistics Office figures show a 41% reduction in the number of dwellings granted planning nationwide compared to the same time last year.
The CSO figures break down, by county and region, the number of houses and apartments granted planning permission in quarter 3 of 2022.
Leitrim had the lowest number of dwellings granted planning during this time period, both in the region and nationwide, at 13.
Longford had the second lowest amount in the country at 23, while Roscommon had 31 units granted.
Looking at apartments, Leitrim and Roscommon had no planning applications granted for apartments in this quarter.
The midlands region, which includes Longford, had a total of 62 applications granted.
Cork had the highest proportion of houses granted planning permission in the country, while Dublin had the highest amount of apartments granted a planning.
6,743 houses and apartments were granted planning permission in quarter 3, a reduction of 41% on the same time last year.
