Over 93 percent of the region's eligible population has received a full dose Covid-19 vaccination.
That's according to new information from the Health Protection and Surveillance Centre that shows the national uptake at 92 percent.
The updated figures include full doses of a recognised Covid-19 vaccine in Ireland and not subsequent booster shots.
County Leitrim has the highest level of vaccination among the eligible population, with 95 percent of the population covered.
While over 92 percent of over 20s are vaccinated, the uptake among the 12 to 15 age group currently sits at 70 percent.
That mirrors the figure for eligible children of the same age in Roscommon, while over 97 percent of the population has received a full dose as of the 13th of January.
With vaccination figures still in the high 80s, Longford has recorded the lowest figures locally in the age groups between 12 and 29.
Overall, Longford's vaccination rate stands at 89 percent of the population.
