A spike in Covid cases in County Leitrim has led it having the highest incidence rate of the disease nationally this week.
The latest figures from the Health Protection Surveillance Centre covering the period up midnight on Sunday shows a 7-day incidence rate of 749, compared to the national average of 543.
There were 240 confirmed cases of Covid notified in Leitrim over the 7 days.
The 14 day incidence rate for the county is third highest in the country at 1,273.
Longford has the 9th highest 7-day rate in the country, with 240 cases in the seven days up to Sunday night.
Roscommon has the second lowest 7-day rate in the country with 250 cases in the 7 day period.
