Leitrim hotel manager says VAT reduction extension will help local sector

The Manager of the Landmark Hotel in Carrick-on- Shannon says they were very happy to hear of the VAT extension to later this year.

Patrick Mc Grath says with the sector containing to face increases costs in other areas, the VAT reduction is a very important support to them.

'It makes a difference in a huge part of our business  as it affects our food and accommodation. In an industry where everything is going up or getting weekly increases, keeping everything a on track is the aim. '
