Leitrim progressed to the semi-final of the Nicky Rackard Cup as Longford were relegated to the Lory Meagher Cup on a final score of 1-11 to 0-12.
Conor Beirne decisive goal edged Leitrim to victory, finding the net with just 20 seconds gone in the second-half.
Longford trailed by 1-6 to five points at one stage but fired over six points in a row during a dominant spell that seemed to have swung the issue in their favour.
