It's not the first time the single mother has had to endure a blackout, with one affecting her home just before Christmas.

A Leitrim mother who has been going without power for over a week has said the government's crisis response is simply 'not good enough'. Claire Rehill moved into a caravan hooked up to a generator with her two young children after her home in Corraleehan, Ballinamore was impacted by power outages. It's not the first time the single mother has had to endure a blackout, with one affecting her home just before Christmas.

The ESB says her electricity will be restored by the 3rd of February. But speaking on the Joe Finnegan Show this morning, she expressed her frustration with the lack of emergency support in the region:
