A Leitrim native has bene appointed as the new President of the Irish College of General Practitioners.
Dr Paul Armstrong who practices in Lifford in Donegal is a native of Carrick-on-Shannon.
He was appointed to the position at the recent AGM of the organisation having serviced as Vice-President recently.

The Irish College of General Practitioners is the national professional body for over two and a half thousand GP's in Ireland and around the world.
