2,014 people were unemployed last month in Longford - up a total of 19 on figures for the last month of 2021.
Year on year it represents a drop of 313 people on figures for the same month last year.
In Roscommon, 1,831 were unemployed in January - up three on figures for last December and year-on-year, it represents a drop of 789 on figures for the same month last year.
1898 people are claiming some form of unemployment assistance in Mullingar and 1447 in Athlone - down 21 and 29 respectively from December.
