A Leitrim restaurant owners say the easing of restrictions in the numbers allowed to dine outdoors is welcome.
The Tánaiste Leo Varadker has outlined that premises won't have to limit capacity if they have the space. six people will be allowed to a table and tables would probably be a metre to a metre- and-a-half apart.
He told the Oireachtas Committee on Enterprise, Trade and Employment that restaurants and pubs also won't have to serve a nine euro substantial meal
Outdoor dining services are due to re-open on the 7th of June with indoor dining to follow in early July.
Robbie Rigney owner of the Marina hotel in Leitrim village says the lifting of restrictions on numbers makes it workable.
