Leitrim Rose Shauna Murtagh has seen her odds to win the Rose of Tralee slashed following her appearance on stage in the dome last night. Shauna was 66/1 to win the competition yesterday morning however bookies now have the Leitrim woman at 10/1 to win the 64th Rose of Tralee.
Meanwhile, Roscommon Rose Rachel Hastings will be in action tonight, in the second rose selection night. 18 entrants were interviewed by presenters Dáithi Ó Se and Kathryn Thomas last night with another 14 interviewed tonight including Ballyforan woman Hastings and London Rose Glenna Mannion, from Tulsk. South Roscommon councillor Laurence Fallon says Rachel is an excellent representative for the county in the festival:
