Celebrations are continuing in Leitrim today after Gunpowder Irish Gin in Drumshanbo took home top honours at the Wine Enthusiast awards.
Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has even taken to Twitter to congratulate the Leitrim based brand saying "That's a big one! I Look forward to trying your Irish Gin!"

Drumshanbo beat out the rock's Teremana Tequila brand as well as Jägermeister and Hennessy to win International Spirit Brand of the Year and Distillery of the Year.
Pat Rigney and his team were delighted with the shout out from Dwayne and responded with "Cheers to you Dwayne-- it was worth a shot!".
