A local Sinn Fein TD says some homes may be without power for another month.
Over 16,000 homes and businesses in the Shannonside region still have no electricity: 800 in Leitrim, 700 in Roscommon and around 1,300 in Longford.

The government is offering to pay for people to stay in B&Bs and hotels if they're still out of power.
But Boyle councillor Sean Moylan says some people are reluctant to take up this offer.
Meanwhile, 11,000 rural homes and businesses around the country remain without broadband after Storm Ewoyn - with Roscommon one of the worst affected areas.
