A Leitrim woman, who was jailed last year for VAT fraud, owes a total of over €381,000 to the Revenue Commissioners
Anne Marie McKeon, of Drumna, Cloone, pleaded guilty last year to filing VAT returns at Leitrim Circuit Court.
Revenue's Tax Defaulters list for the first quarter of the year include just one individual from the Shannonside region.
Ms McKeon, who is described as a former PAYE employee and contract cleaner, appears on the tax defaulters list following a revenue investigation case for under declaration of VAT.
Her total tax bill including interest and penalties was a total of €385,770, of which €381,612 was unpaid as of the end of March this year.
At Leitrim Circuit Court, she previously pleaded guilty to 11 counts of delivering false VAT returns between 2008 and 2012.
She was jailed for two years by Jude John Aylmer at Leitrim Circuit in February 2020 after the court heard a revenue officer estimated that a total of €131,000 has been claimed between 2008 and 2012.
Elsewhere in the latest defaulters list, one Roscommon man was fined €1250 for failure to lodge VAT returns, with four Roscommon men also fined for misuse of mineral oil and a fine of €300 issued for a Roscommon man who also obstructed a Revenue officer.
