Leitrim's Fire Service is warning of a high fire risk in the county as high temperatures persist for the next couple of days.
They're asking members of the public who are visiting recreational and scenic areas to co-operate with all requests regarding fire safety.
People are also reminded not to park in areas that could obstruct emergency vehicles who may be attending an incident.
The fire service in Leitrim says the need for increased vigilance at this time can't be overstated.
They're also reminding people who call 112 or 999 to report a fire that they won't be billed for the call by them or the local authority.
