Leitrim's former MBNA building set to be upgraded in the New Year

A major refurbishment of the former MBNA building in Carrick-on-Shannon will go to tender in 2025.

Leitrim County Council bought the building two years ago and it's now known as Carrick Business Campus.

Five businesses are based in the 112,000-square-foot building, with Avant Money employing over 200 people there.

Joseph Gilhooly is the chief executive of Leitrim County Council - he says around a quarter of the building will be upgraded in 2025.
