Limerick are the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Champions for the second time in three years after beating Waterford 30 points to 19.
The Munster champions had led by 14 points to 11 at half-time, having been six up at one point, but a third-quarter rally gave Waterford hope.
Gearóid Hegarty lifted the man of the match award scoring seven points from play and Tom Morrissey (0-5) combined to hurt Waterford.
Limerick become the first county since Tipperary in 1961 to win all their league and championship games to become league, Munster and All-Ireland champions.
