Lisa O'Rourke can look forward to a World Boxing final after winning her semi-final this afternoon.
The Castlerea native went up against home favourite Sema Caliskan in the last four of the light middleweight division just after 2pm.
The 20-year-old started very strongly and won the opening two rounds 10-9.
With her opponent tiring in the third, the Galway Olympic boxing club woman powered home to a major success and a guaranteed silver medal.

Two from two! Lisa O’Rourke hasn’t even won an Irish title as a senior yet but the Roscommon woman (and Rossies midfielder) is through to an Elite World Championship final just seven weeks after winning the European U22s. What an unbelievable sporting talent! pic.twitter.com/a0oQB19ftT
