An extended power outage in Boyle threatens to delay Christmas post in the coming days.
The An Post delivery office is one of over 1,400 premises in the north Roscommon town that remains without electricity.
It lost power because of Storm Darragh on Friday night and the ESB still hasn't fixed the fault.
Our reporter Eoghan Murphy visited An Post delivery office in Boyle this afternoon and spoke to the manager, Sean Moylan, who said: "There is bound to be delays if the power outage continues, but management and Staff at An Post Boyle are working hard to minimise delays and appreciate the customers working with us and thank them for their patience."

Up to 10,000 homes and businesses in the Shannonside region are still without power.
