After the general election was called on Friday, Shannonside FM is hosting debates over the next three weeks with election candidates.

Today, on Let's Talk, we focused on the Sligo-Leitrim constituency, which includes all of counties Sligo and Leitrim and a population of around 9,400 people in south Donegal, including Ballyshannon and Bundoran.

There are 14 declared candidates so far – four in Leitrim and 10 in Sligo.  Today, we hosted a debate with five of them, and debates with the remaining candidates will be held over the next two weeks.
