The Green Party’s Leslie O’Hora says Leitrim Village is ideal for an asylum-seeker centre – and is slamming some of those who oppose it.
The Department of Integration is considering accommodating international-protection applicants in the Leitrim Marina Hotel.
Over 100 people attended a public meeting last Thursday night, amid some local concern over the plan.
